Mission Adrenal

Monday, September 15, 2008 / Posted by Rambo /

Rambo pumps the adrenaline on a Mission for warp speed and the Ocean provides the ride.

Probably my best video to date, hope you enjoy.
Apart from the excellent downwind run, this video highlights what is possible with the Go Pro Hero3 Camera and a little (2 days) editing. If you want a 150mg HQ mp4 copy download here http://blip.tv/file/get/Rambooc1-MissionAdrenal383.mp4

Leave a comment if you like, helps make the insanity of making video's a little more enjoyable.
Cheers Rambo

Woot! @ 3:30 -> Stand down man, your heart rate is red zoning!

Nice finish with the other canoes, harbor, and sunset. You are always inspiring. Question: on waves how's the Peg compare to a Pahoa as far as dunking the bow goes. Do you find yourself shifting back quite a bit more? I'm a a big framed 210 lbs and ride a Polaris. I'm trying to help my gf pick out an OC1.

Mahalo from Hilo, HI for the vids and spirit!

Mike, i have a video from the same day of a 6' 8'" 110kg paddler on a Pahoa. Cam location is the same and shows the Pahoa's extra volume handling the purling better, bit mostly comes do to rider skill. Will post the vid soon.

Thanks for you comments guys.

Stop using up all those great waves before I get there for bootcamp, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get Mrs Clarkie out that far catching waves!

Once again my broadband bill is justified! A thought, would it be poss' to superimpose the speed from a GPS? Then we'd have a real idea what warp speed you get with your drives redlined like that.

Hey James, i have just finished the Heartrate/GPS/speed interface this week, it will be included in the next video.

Mate that was fantastic. Its 1:30am NZ time, and after watching your video I can't wait to paddle again. You got the sound track right, and I agree quality wise this is your best recording.
