Another Camera and Mount Test on OC1

Wednesday, May 09, 2007 / Posted by Rambo /

The last part of this small video shows a different camera angle, it needs to drop down about 300 mm and tilt up slightly, then i believe we will have the ideal behind paddler position. The quailty is quite good considering the footage is compressed down from 240 meg to 4.25 meg. The original played on a full size TV is perfect.

Just waiting for that big bump day, i know it's coming and i'll be prepared.

Stay tuned

Arh yes, one of Todd Bradleys mates. Wow who would have though of putting a pole cam on a standup paddle, what really strange body movement, everything looks like going in reverse or something.

Shot some awesome big surf footage today on the OC1 , buried my Hurricane and most of me at the bottom of a wave. Out of 22 clips only 1 was ok. Something went haywire with the software in the GoPro and needed a reboot. Lost all resolution, all pixelated video. Arh well have to endanger my life again another day. Hahaaaaa.

Cheers Rambo

Rambo, Great site. Awesome footage and other information. We are in the Pacific Northwest (or Northeast from your context). Great waters here too, but still love Hawaii waters. Check my blog:

Can't wait for your big bump video. Scroll down on my site for some past-the-mokes shots from my little pentax waterproof camera.
