Comes with a foam seat insert to lift the paddler into an Oc paddling position.

Hey look mom! It's my canoe...err... ski...thing on Rambo's Locker! It is admittedly an interesting craft to begin with. I had never bothered to paddle it as a surf ski...though I understand that it was pretty fast being ultra narrow (and ultra tippy) by surf ski standards.

Otherwise, it handled just like the production V1-Z with the exception of the seat. Figuring out how to develop the rigid and mini-cell foam seat turned out to be a pain in the bum. (no pun intended)

Hey Ed that's a cool ride you have there. Something like that would sell really well down here in OZ as lot's of paddlers do both. Jude never fails to amaze me with the innovations and customized ocean craft that he builds.

Ed Has this Skioc?? for sale and you can contact him at ed_nguyen@yahoo.com

$1900 i believe he is asking for it in Nth or Sth California. Thanks Ed.

Cheers Rambo

There are alot of used skis out there, like Mako Mills, tippy as hell. This is how to get an OC cheap! Fiberglass, an ama and iakos.
Jude also has a wild looking wing that he is just releasing. Training wheels for a ski. Tried it on an S1X last weekend. You cannot huli and a rank beginner can paddle hard!

I know exactly what you're talking about...in fact, I snapped a picture of it when I saw it at our local sprint championships (Northern California)

Here's what it looks like:

It's an innovative contraption...and looks to be as well executed as anyone could imagine. I just wonder how it is attached to the ski. I wasn't able to get a closer look at it.

Jude should create a modified one for OC's to help newbies get the feel for flying the ama...while staying dry, of course.

My apologies gang...didn't realize that the URL would be truncated. Hopefully these two below work:

If those URL's get truncated again, go to my album at:

Then click on the 2008 NCOCA Sprint Championships link. The ski "training wheel" shots are on the first page.
